Ian was appointed Chief Executive in 2009.  A qualified barrister, he joined Bilbrough in 1991 and worked in and subsequently headed the Company’s Greek Office between 1995-2000.  Appointed a Claims Director in 2003, Ian has more recently been responsible for members in the Far East and the US, as well as representing the Club on a number of International Group sub-committees and working groups.

Ian is responsible for the supervision of FD&D and P&I claims and represents the Club on the International Group’s Pollution, Ships’ Standards and Occupational Diseases sub-committees.
Ian is a qualified barrister and has been with Bilbrough since the mid 1970s. During his career, he spent nearly 15 years in the Hong Kong office in two separate stints, and became a Director in 1987.

Mike has worked in both the claims handling and underwriting departments and now has overall responsibility for underwriting the Club’s worldwide membership. He looks after key accounts in the Far East and the USA and is heavily involved with major accounts in Greece. He joined Bilbrough in 1978 and became a Director in 1992.

Anthony’s wide-ranging responsibilities include corporate administration, personnel, IT and regulatory matters.
He joined Bilbrough immediately after gaining his law degree and, apart from three years working outside the P & I industry in the early 1990s, has been with the team ever since. He became a Director in 2000 and is a member of the International Group's Regulatory Affairs, Capital Adequacy and FMC sub-committees.

Iain is responsible for all accounting, treasury, investment and Club reinsurance affairs and works with Anthony Jones on regulatory matters.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 with PricewaterhouseCoopers and, after a three-year spell working in Bermuda’s insurance and reinsurance industry, joined Bilbrough in 2002. He became a Director in 2008.

Steve manages major P&I claims and supervises the claims team, particularly those handling P&I and FD&D matters for the Greek membership.
He joined Bilbrough in 1981, working in the Greek office from 1989 to 1993, and became a Director in 2008.

Before joining Bilbrough in 1997, Ian worked both at sea and in ship management. In addition to his claims role, he is part of the Bilbrough team that produces loss prevention literature, including the StopLoss Bulletin.  He became a Director in 2010.
