Blue Cards CLC Certificates, 1969 & 1992 Civil Liability Conventions (T.026)

This circular explains how ships should deal with CLC certificates while the 1969 Civil Liability Convention and the 1992 CLC are both in force. It sets out the IMO resolution intended to avoid unnecessary difficulties for ships trading internationally and gives guidance on which certificates different ships should carry.

It also includes the relevant IMO resolution and annexes listing the states party to each convention as at 3 December 1999.
