This circular sets out London P&I’s decisions on open policy years for class 8 Freight, Demurrage & Defence, including additional calls, deferred calls, release calls and the advance call increase for 2009/2010.

It confirms the closure of 2005/2006 without further call and explains the reasons for taking early action to strengthen free reserves in light of claims experience and market conditions.
