This circular explains London P&I’s interim recommendations for the carriage of calcium hypochlorite, following concerns that some existing IMDG Code provisions were inadequate.

We set out the risks identified by testing and the precautions London P&I and the International Group of P&I Clubs recommend until the IMDG Code is reviewed by IMO.
