Circular 8089: Class 8, The Freight, Demurrage and Defence Class ()

This circular notifies members of Class 8, the Freight, Demurrage and Defence Class, of a special meeting to consider amendments to the Rules. It also sets out the proposed changes to the calling structure, payment provisions, release calls and reserves, with explanatory notes on the intended effect of the revisions.

The amendments were due to be submitted for adoption at the meeting in New York on 14 October 2009 and, if approved, were to take effect from noon GMT on 20 February 2010.
