Class 5 (P&I) – Rule changes with effect from policy year 2026-2027 (5.672)

This circular gives notice of proposed rule amendments for Class 5, the Protection and Indemnity class, with effect from noon GMT on 20 February 2026.

London P&I sets out changes to the cargo, general exclusions and specialist risks rules. The amendments are intended to align the Rules with the 2026/27 Pooling Agreement, including clarification of cover where rights of recourse have been waived and where specialist offshore operations are involved.
