Class 5, The Protecting and Indemnity Class (5.552)

London P&I notifies members of Class 5, the Protection and Indemnity class, of a separate meeting to consider amendments to Rule 9, which covers crew injury, illness, quarantine and indemnities for services connected with an entered ship.

The proposed changes are intended to clarify the scope of cover for crew claims, confirm how quarantine cover applies in certain trading situations and align the rule more closely with the Pooling Agreement.
