Class 8, The Freight, Demurrage and Defence Class (8.113)

This circular gives notice of a separate meeting of members of class 8, the Freight, Demurrage & Defence Class, to consider amendments to the Rules. The proposed changes are mainly intended to address the potential impact of Brexit and the role of a subsidiary in underwriting this class.

London P&I also sets out revisions to key definitions and membership provisions, and explains how contracts may be performed if the Association is unable to do so because of legal or regulatory restrictions.
