Club Inspection Programme - Carriage of HFO; 2006 Declaration Form (T.027)

This circular explains a new International Group inspection trigger for tankers that have carried heavy fuel oil (HFO) as cargo, and sets out the declaration members must make at renewal.

London P&I confirms that its existing ship inspection programme already meets the minimum information standards and most of the agreed triggers. The main change is a new declaration requirement for members, together with guidance on when inspections are needed and how HFO is defined.
