London P&I explains how members can evidence P&I cover to third parties and why requests for separate confirmations of insurance should be referred to the certificate of entry and the online list of entered vessels.

The circular also notes that London P&I will not issue confirmations that require research into national or local laws, and points readers to the searchable vessel list on the website for up to date information.
