Contracts of Carriage (5.285)

This circular explains London P&I’s position on contracts of carriage by sea that do not include the Hague Rules, the Hague-Visby Rules, or similar rights and immunities for the carrier. It also reminds members that certain through or combined transport terms need approval from the Managers, and that removing commonly used terms may increase the risk of disputes.
