Electronic Bills of Lading: Notification of new process (5.658)

London P&I is notifying members and assureds of a new process for paperless trading systems and electronic bills of lading from 20 February 2025.

From that date, systems that permit only compliant e-bills and can demonstrate reliability will be treated as deemed approved. London P&I will also list qualifying system providers on the website, while existing approval arrangements continue for systems outside the new criteria.
