Electronic (Paperless) Trading – approval of eTEU eBL platform (5.638)

London P&I confirms that the International Group of P&I Clubs has approved the eTEU eBL Platform for electronic, paperless trading. This means liabilities arising under the platform may be covered, provided the system is used in line with the approved terms and conditions.

The circular also reminds members that the usual cargo-related exclusions in the Group Rules continue to apply and asks members using approved systems to share any practical or legal issues they encounter.
