Electronic (Paperless) Trading Electronic Shipping Solutions (5.576)

This circular confirms that the International Group of P&I Clubs has approved WAVE for use as an electronic, paperless trading system. It also reminds members that liabilities arising under approved systems are covered only within the Group’s rules and that other cargo exclusions continue to apply.

London P&I also notes the existing approved systems and asks members using them to share any practical or legal issues they encounter.
