Entry into force of the Bunkers Convention - State Certification (5.378)

This circular explains how London P&I is helping members prepare for the entry into force of the Bunkers Convention on 21 November 2008, including the issue of Blue Cards and the use of state certificates for ships registered in non-State Parties.

It also notes the position of certain issuing authorities, points members to the available contact details, and provides a revised charterparty clause on financial responsibility for pollution.
