This circular sets out London P&I's concerns about the carriage of nickel ore from Indonesia and the Philippines, where cargo liquefaction may create a serious risk to vessels and seafarers.

It explains the issues identified with loading, sampling and testing, summarises the requirements of the IMSBC Code, and sets out practical precautions for Masters and Members before and during loading.
