Instructions for Completion of U.S. Voyage Declarations (5.275)

London P&I sets out amended guidance for completing U.S. voyage declaration forms, following an update to the lists of persistent and non-persistent oils. The note should be used immediately on the 1999 forms.

The circular explains how non-persistent hydro-carbon oils are defined for the declaration, gives examples of oils that should normally be treated as non-persistent or persistent, and reminds members to contact the Managers if they need clarification.
