Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting on 28 January 2009 (5.384)

London P&I gave notice of an extraordinary general meeting to consider a special resolution amending the Association’s Memorandum of Association. The proposed changes were intended to give the Committee greater flexibility, in exceptional circumstances, to implement a change of corporate domicile or other restructuring at short notice if it was considered to be in members’ best interests.

The notice also confirmed that members entitled to attend and vote could appoint a proxy to do so on their behalf.
