Notice of Meeting on 23 January 2002 (8.067)

This notice sets out a separate meeting of members of Class 8, the Freight, Demurrage and Defence Class, to consider changes to the Rules.

The proposed amendment updates Rule 23 on extension of cover to other parties. It is intended to stop third parties who are not named in the Certificate of Entry, or by endorsement, from claiming the benefit of cover under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
