London P&I gives notice of a separate meeting of members of Class 8, the Freight, Demurrage and Defence class, to consider amendments to the Rules with effect from 20 February 2009.

The proposed changes affect cover for legal costs and related matters, limits on cover, and the rules on the period of insurance, termination and novation. Explanatory notes in the circular clarify the purpose of each amendment.
