OBO's and Clean Tankers -1998/99 Policy Year (5.246)

London P&I explains how OBOs and clean tankers will be assessed for the 1998/99 policy year, including the change from annual to quarterly treatment for dirty tanker reinsurance cost.

Members are advised that a warranty is required for ships trading dry or with clean products, unless the full annual dirty tanker reinsurance cost applies. For the new policy year, London P&I will assess these ships on a quarterly basis.
