Oil Pollution in the United States Tanker Voyage Additional Premium System 2013/14 Policy Year (5.466) (January 2013)

London P&I confirms that special arrangements to cover US OPA 90 pollution liabilities for tankers will apply again in the 2013/14 policy year, subject to quarterly declarations and the relevant additional premium rates.

Members who require this cover must agree by 20 February 2013 to make declarations in line with Rule 9.15.1.5.3. The circular also sets out the reduced rates for the year and reminds members to state whether their vessels are fitted with segregated ballast tanks.
