This circular explains the special arrangements available for tanker members needing cover for US OPA 90 pollution liabilities in the 2012/13 policy year. It sets out the declaration requirements, deadlines and additional premium rates, including the lower rates that apply to vessels fitted with segregated ballast tanks.

London P&I also reminds members that quarterly voyage declarations are required in order to maintain cover under these arrangements.
