Oil Pollution in the US - Tanker Voyage Premium Surcharge System 2001/02 Policy Year (5.301)

This circular explains that London P&I will continue the tanker voyage premium surcharge system for the 2001/2002 policy year for voyages involving persistent oil to or from the United States.

It confirms that surcharge rates remain unchanged, sets out when the oil pollution exclusion clause applies, and provides the quarterly declaration requirements for members trading to the United States or within the U.S. exclusive economic zone.
