This circular explains Uruguay’s oil spill response contract requirements, which apply from 20 February 2015. London P&I outlines the vessels in scope, the documents that must be presented to the authorities, and the approved response companies members may need to contract with.

It also confirms that the contract terms reviewed by the International Group are consistent with its vessel response plan guidelines and that the liabilities arising from them fall within members’ P&I cover.
