London P&I updates members on the People's Republic of China's Regulations on the Prevention and Control of Marine Pollution from Ships and the planned introduction of implementing rules for approved spill response contracts.

The circular explains that a grace period is expected before enforcement begins, and that the list of approved responders for Chinese ports should follow with, or soon after, the implementing notice.
