Trade Sanctions Legislation - Notice of Cancellation under Rule 4.D.8.1 (7.099)

This circular gives notice that London P&I will cancel War Risks insurances and reinstate them with additional sanctions exclusions from 24 August 2010. It explains the new conditions and asks members to confirm that they want the cover reinstated.

The notice follows earlier guidance and is intended to protect London P&I against legislation imposing sanctions, including measures linked to cargoes carried to Iran.
