London P&I explains the new United States requirements for non-tank vessel response plans, including the deadline for submission and the need for funding agreements with salvors and marine fire-fighting resources.

The circular also notes that the terms of those agreements will be checked against the International Group Guidelines on Vessel Response Plans, and that London P&I will issue further guidance once the Final Rule has been reviewed.
