This circular updates Members on vessel response planning requirements for Western Alaska under the US non-tank final rule. It explains the Alaska Maritime Prevention and Response Network enrolment process, the continuing concerns around contract terms and potential exposure outside Club cover, and a revision to US Coast Guard guidance for the D14 Remote Zone.
