US Voyages - carriage of persistent oil - application of 50% rebate on voyage premium (5.453)

London P&I explains how the 50% rebate on voyage premium applies to voyages involving the loading or lightening of persistent oil as cargo in the US.

Following a review of US Coast Guard approved areas, London P&I confirms that the rebate applies in approved loading or lightening areas outside ports on the same basis as before the January 2012 circular.
