War P&I Risks Agreement to Pool certain Bio-Chem Claims (5.335)

London P&I explains the introduction of limited cover for certain war P&I risks that fall within a bio-chem exclusion clause, together with the main terms of the new pooling arrangement.

The circular confirms cover for two specific claims types: liabilities arising from injury, illness or death of seamen, and legal costs incurred solely to avoid or reduce an insured P&I liability or risk. It also sets out the limit, deductible, cancellation rights and excluded areas that apply to the extension.
