Amelia Chan

Biography

I help our Asian members with FD&D and P&I claims. Members can view me as an extension of their team, working together with them to resolve problems which they may encounter in their day-to-day operations. Prior to my present role, I gained extensive claims handling experience with a fixed premium P&I underwriter, a breakbulk operator and another IG club. These roles have helped me to understand and appreciate the perspectives of various stakeholders in claims and disputes. I hold a BSc in Maritime Studies and LLM in Maritime Law. Originally from Singapore, I’m now based in Hong Kong.
