Biography

As CEO, I’m personally focused on making sure our members know we’re there when it counts – available, decisive and clear-headed under pressure.

Shoulder to shoulder with colleagues, we build close, long-term relationships and combine marine insurance expertise with a strong global network, supporting members in practical ways that genuinely make a difference. I value the balance between stewardship and momentum – protecting a strong mutual heritage while adapting to meet evolving expectations.

I qualified as a solicitor at a leading London maritime law firm before joining an IG Club in 2005. Working across the Mediterranean and Middle East, including time living in Greece, gave me a deep practical understanding of shipping and, more importantly, the real difference we can make when it matters most. I later led offshore and renewable teams and guided a business merger, shaping my belief in the value of strong culture, clear decision‑making and genuine partnership.

I became London P&I’s CEO in November 2024 – motivated by its mutual ethos, impressive heritage and commitment to going further for members.
