Biography

I help our members deal with claims efficiently, providing advice, support and guidance when they need it, including on evolving industry issues. I’ve worked in the P&I world for nearly 30 years –including 18 years in P&I clubs, two with an insurance broker, and eight as deputy manager in a shipping company supervising chartering and operations. During that time, I’ve handled various claims, enabling me to identify risks promptly and provide practical assistance. My experience also allows me to understand the pressures members face when incidents happen and assess claims from their point of view.
