Biography

My 40+ years experience helps solve Greek and worldwide members’ claims and keep their ships moving. Every day is interesting, studying facts to unravel conflicting information, discover missed vital details and navigate through competing agendas to find the best outcomes.

Eleven years at sea, a degree focused on meteorology, oceanography and the environment, plus decades dealing with P&I and Defence claims (supplemented by legal skills), has ensured the broadest experience. I’m also often the first stop for Speed and Consumption claims.

I like countryside walks, foraging and beekeeping, but shipping is a fantastic lens into other cultures, offering continuous rewards.
