I support our sanctions compliance framework by assessing regulatory risks, conducting detailed screening, and helping ensure decisions align with international sanctions requirements. My work strengthens members’ protection by helping us make informed, compliant and timely decisions. I value the role’s investigative and analytical nature, particularly interpreting complex regulatory developments and their impact on shipping. As a qualified maritime lawyer, I fully understand how regulation, commercial operations, and marine insurance interact, allowing me to analyse complex sanctions frameworks and provide clear advice.
