Biography

I help our Chinese members deal with contractual disputes, especially charterparty, so they feel backed by legal expertise whenever they need support. Shipping is a worldwide business, and I enjoy working with people across the globe, I find how people from different backgrounds view the same issue differently – and the art of agreeing to disagree – particularly interesting. I have worked and seconded at another P&I club and a boutique shipping law firm, giving me confidence when giving members legal and practical advice. I like yoga, valuing its emphasis on mindfulness and present-moment awareness to reduce stress and improve attention.
