Biography

I support our Asia Pacific members to manage loss prevention. By providing advice on crew safety, bulk and general cargoes, navigation, and other operational areas, I help them avoid claims through early proactive mitigation. With over 20 years’ experience at sea and ashore across dry cargo vessel types, I have extensive knowledge and experience of modern shipping operations, operational and crew-safety risks. I spent 11 years at sea, progressing from Cadet to Master, followed by 10 years as a Marine Superintendent overseeing day-to-day operations of container vessels, and general cargo and bulk carriers like handy‑size, Supramax, Panamax and Capesize vessels.
