Employers’ Liability Register

The Employers’ Liability Register helps identify if we insure a vessel for claims relating to crew injury or illness.

It is designed to support seafarers, representatives, and advisers in tracing the relevant insurer following a claim or potential claim.

You can search the register by entering a vessel name or IMO number.
The register includes:

  • All vessels insured us from 20 February 2011 onwards

  • Earlier vessels where a personal injury or illness claim was received after that date, but relates to an earlier policy year
