China fishery farms updates

London P&I is advising members and assureds whose vessels are bound for ports in China to note the latest updates on the distribution of fish farms along the coast. These updates may affect approaches to a number of ports.

The latest circulars are available from correspondents:

• Huatai Marine: An Update on the Distribution of Major Fishery Farms along the Coast of China. A Chinese version is also available. This circular includes details for Dalian, Qinhuangdao, Rizhao and Lanshan, and Lianyungang.

• Oasis: Update on Fishery Farms around Rizhao and Lanshan ports, China, with recommendations.

The information in these circulars supplements previous updates and may change.

Members should always seek the latest information from local agents on fish farm locations when planning passages to or from Chinese ports. This will help avoid the risk of passing through fishery farms that are not yet marked on sea charts.
