Members should recall previous Circulars in respect of recommendations for the carriage of Calcium Hypochlorite, resting with Circular dated 30 December 1999 (click here) and Circular dated 20 December 2000 (click here).
However, given the passing of time since those circulars in the immediate aftermath of particular incidents, the London P&I Club and all other International Group members wish to raise awareness to the wider maritime industry of the hazards and precautions associated with Calcium Hypochlorite through the attached FAQs.
