Iran Sanctions – Updated FAQs (25 May 2012) on EU Regulation 267/2012

Members will recall the recent News Alert of 27 March 2012 reporting on the latest EU restrictions on the transport of crude oil and petroleum or petrochemical products from or originating in Iran (click here to read the previous alert). A further alert (on 29 March) provided a link to the FAQs drafted by the International Group of P&I Clubs to assist Members in their understanding of the EU restrictions and their effect on P&I insurance and Shipowners.
