ISWAN

2 October 2020

Seafarers are the driving force of our industry and we are delighted to announce our membership of the International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN).

ISWAN is a network of international organisations committed to improving the welfare of seafarers. The organisation provides a confidential, 24-hour, multilingual helpline - SeafarerHelp - which ensures immediate help and support is available at any time of day, anywhere in the world, to seafarers and their families. Reasons to use this helpline range from a problem on board, or a health issue, simply to request general information and advice. The Club’s membership of ISWAN means that this important service is available to all our Members free of charge. Members are advised that it can be accessed by crew via the following link here.

Other services ISWAN offers include providing a range of free health information resources, including three self-help Good Mental Health Guides.
