News Alert: Sudan Sanctions – US revokes certain sanctions and issues a new General Licence – News Alert 10 October 2017. Certain Sudan sanctions have been revoked as of 12 October 2017, athough there remain some issues and Members should still undertake due diligence when considering Sudan related trade.

- UK Guidance: HM Treasury's Financial Sanctions Notice on Sudan provides a useful summary of the restrictions imposed by EU Regulation 747/2014 (see below) and useful guidance. Click here to access a copy.
- EU Legislation: EU Council Decision 2014/450/CFSP and EU Council Regulation 747/2014 of 10 July 2014 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Sudan. These provide for an embargo on arms and related material, a ban on provision of certain services, travel restrictions on people infringing the arms embargo and human rights, and the freezing of funds and economic resources.
